Charlene is a one of a kind educator, her workshops are engaging, entertaining and

full of practical strategies to help activate success both personally and professionally.

This course focuses on you as an individual, reconnecting you to yourself as a

human first and then looking at how we can best look after our clients through

the most connected and considered consultations. You will learn how to look after

all aspects of your health and well-being, enhance your problem-solving skills,

conduct thorough consultations, boost client retention and increase profitability,

ultimately transforming you into a more fulfilled and thriving hairdresser.

The first half of the day focuses on ‘The Human Hairdresser’. First and foremost,

we are humans. As hairdressers we need to be able to shift our focus to look

after ourselves before we can wholeheartedly service others. This workshop is

dedicated to the mindful practices needed to be a successful hairdresser.

The second half of the day focuses on ‘The Intuitive Consultation’. The consultation

is the heart of any service and directly correlates to client satisfaction and overall

profit. In this session you will learn straightforward steps to ensure you are

connecting to the hair and the human in your chair. We’ll delve into the essential

aspects and non-negotiables of styling, cutting and colour consults, leaving you

empowered to fulfil every client’s desire no matter what the request.

Fun, engaging, honest, and raw - Charlene Fernandez is a vibrant hairdresser,
inspirational educator and most recently, a proud salon owner. Throughout her 18
years in hair, Charlene has endeavoured to experience all this incredible industry
has to offer. Charlene has worked at New York Fashion Week, won international
awards in Berlin and Monaco, held shows in London and Hanover, and in 2021 won
AHIA (Australia Hair Industry Awards) Independent Stylist of the Year.
Coming from a large family and managing big teams for the majority of her
career, Charlene is excited to now be building a new, wholesome and growthminded community that merges hair and wellness at Reign Salon and Retreat.
Charlene looks forward to sharing her insight and wisdom to empower fellow
hairdressers and colourists to be all that they can and dream without limitations.
