Busta Mauve is a quirky jazz funk soul quartet from Bris, Australia. The band formed in 2022, when a collection of total pros reconnected through the musical groove matrix. Featuring Dave McGuire on guitar, Peta Leigh Wilson on keys, McCoy Harvey on bass, and Scott Nosworthy on drums, the band serves up original jams, 90s jazz grunge, and splashes of reggae. Inspiration is taken from artists, John Scofield, Delvon Lamarr and Ernest Ranglin. Busta Mauve’s blend of backbeat jazz, funk punch, and soul feels will make you want to align physically and spiritually.
