Meet the Experts

John Parker, Business Broker - Tabak

With 17 years’ experience, John will reveal the key factors that can make or break a business purchase. John helped setup the Tabak Hamilton office and has since become the dominant seller of quality business within the Waikato region. John has been involved with selling and valuing hundreds of Waikato businesses and is believed to be the most successful business brokers within the Waikato region. He has been involved in over $50 million worth of sales in all sectors of business including manufacturing, retail, import distribution, service, hospitality, engineering and franchising. As well as having years of business experience, John also holds a certificate in Advanced Business Valuation at the Western Sydney University. 

Janey Haringa, Business Lawyer - JH LAW

Janey will demystify the legal side of buying a business, providing insights into protecting your investment. Janey is a commercial lawyer based in Waikato with a background in biomedical science, business, and law. She began her career as an investment analyst in private equity, focusing on businesses in the biotech and animal tech industries. Today, through her private law practice, JH LAW, Janey enjoys helping NZ businesses grow and contributes to the development of the Waikato business community by serving on the board for Waikato Chamber of Commerce and the committee of the NZ Shareholders Association Waikato.

Quentin Glover, Business Finance Broker - Profinance

Quentin will enlighten you about the funding options so you can make confident financial decisions. Quentin is a Financial Adviser based in Cambridge who specialises in commercial finance, business acquisition and investment management. Quentin has over 25 years of experience in all areas of business and commercial lending including working with structured finance, management buy-outs and publicly listed companies.
