The BVRT Festival of Cycling returns on Saturday 1 August 2026, bringing hundreds of riders together for a full day of gravel, connection, and celebration on one of Australia’s most iconic rail trails.

This is more than a ride. It’s a festival on two wheels.

From first pedal to finish-line cheers, the day unfolds across the stunning Brisbane Valley Rail Trail - wide open farmland, rolling bushland, and that unmistakable feeling of being out there with your people. Whether you’re pushing your limits or settling into a great day in the saddle with mates, this is where the ride becomes something bigger.

With multiple distances to choose from, riders of all kinds are welcome; some chasing the challenge, others chasing the experience. Groups form, conversations flow, and the kilometres pass the way the best rides always do: together.

Along the way, full event support keeps everything moving, so you can focus on the ride. And at the finish, Yarraman comes alive with a buzzing event village, music, food, cold drinks, and a shared sense of achievement that carries well into the afternoon.
