Global Greetings!
Event description
Bring your own lunch, take away a language!
Join us for this unique interactive event from Queen's University Belfast's Sanctuary team, in partnership with the Language Centre, on Wednesday, 1 October.
How it Works
This interactive session will give you the chance to learn how to meet and greet your neighbours in a range of languages, like Arabic, Cantonese, French, Greek, Hausa, Irish, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Ulster Scots and more!
Bring your own lunch to the South Dining Hall (NOTE: please avoid bringing nuts, in case others are allergic) and join a table, where your host will show you how to exchange greetings and introduce yourself in a new language.
Then, every ten minutes, you can move to a different table to learn another!
All are welcome, particularly those who are going through, or have recently come through, the asylum system.
PLEASE NOTE, photographs and video may be taken during the event and used for social media purposes; if you do not wish your picture to be published please inform the organisers.

We look forward to seeing you there!
