Join us for Byron Bay's Christmas Party of the Year!

Byron Bay Chamber of Commerce, Destination Byron and Sourdough Business Pathways are once again teaming up to throw the party of the season.

We have got the beach with the beautiful, white sand, but down under we miss the snow! Please join us as we come together for 'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas,' a celebration of our incredible communities, and a well deserved night of enjoyment after an unprecedented year. FAQ's:

Q “Help! I don’t have white. What should I wear?”

A  That’s ok, please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. It’s Byron Bay, so some of us will be wearing t-shirts and thongs, and others may be wearing evening glamour. Our goal was to create a festive environment, which is why we started with Bing Crosby's "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas." Other ideas for a holiday festivity include festive shirts, a wrap of tinsel and any other colours that you feel inspire a sense of festivity. Any attire in any colour is welcome!

Q "Should I buy something to wear if I want to fit the theme?"

A We provide themes to give you an idea of a starting point, but comfort and your own personal wardrobe are important considerations. Please avoid purchasing clothes just for this event. If you don't have something you feel like wearing, upcycled and second-hand clothes are always an excellent choice.

Q “Canapes are finger food. Will I be hungry?”

A  Of course not! Our menu is provided by local favourite Eat Drink Catering and includes a mixture of both a grazing board and more substantial offering (all dietaries will be catered for). You won't leave hungry!

Q "Will there be parking available at the Surf Club?"

A There is a small amount of parking available, but most available parking is public. Please consider the environment when arranging your transport, and carpool where possible.

Q “How did you come to the ticket price?”

A  We appreciate that the ticket price may be seen as expensive. The cost of venue hire at the end of the year is unfortunately high. Inflation, increased food costs, staffing and equipment hire, all add up immensely, too.

The end goal is break-even for us, so we've priced our tickets to achieve this result. If ticket prices were any cheaper, our organisations would lose money, which we cannot afford given our non-profit nature. Despite the expense, we felt it important to prioritise our community coming together to spend quality time with one another. We hope you'll join!
