Seven Yarra Valley winemakers come together for a guided tasting and conversation about cool-climate Cabernet:

Guests taste a Cabernet from each winemaker and hear first-hand what the Yarra Valley's climate gives the variety, how they grow and make it, and where it is heading. Cabernet in Conversation is ticketed separately from the dinner.

The masterclass will be hosted by Ed Merrison, a British-born journalist turned wine educator who has made Melbourne his home for more than 20 years. Before turning to wine full-time, Ed reported for Sky News, Bloomberg, The Guardian and the Herald Sun. He was named Australia's top-performing WSET Diploma graduate in 2017, and today writes Vininspo!, a newsletter about the people, places and stories behind wine. Ed will guide the conversation, drawing out each winemaker's take on what makes Yarra Valley Cabernet distinctive.
