CACAO CEREMONY: A JOURNEY WITH THE HEART

Life is a constant ebb and flow of energy and, when the waves feel like they’re peaking and things feel busy or overwhelming, it can be easy to fall into stress responses, patterns and defaults to keep us going. 

This gathering is an invitation to carve some time to connect back into the heart space, our inner compass to move through the chaos with love and compassion. Held by the medicine of Cacao, we will honour this sacred plant and call upon her wisdom and feminine energy to nurture and cultivate the energy of gratitude.

ABOUT CEREMONIAL CACAO

The Ceremonial Cacao we will be working with is from Seleno Health who source directly from Peru, the ancient source of Cacao traceable back over 7500 years. Working directly with the farmers and holding deep reverence for the ancestral wisdom, this Organic Criollo cacao holds a powerful vibration. 

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR

Helen is a Yoga guide (Hatha, Yin & Yoga Nidra), Energy Worker and Body Worker passionate about ancient wisdom and traditional practices to serve the collective in the modern day. Having connected deeply with Cacao along her own healing journey, she has trained and supported Seleno Health in sharing the message of this plant medicine for healing

WHERE

The Zen Den, Matakana is a sanctuary in the centre of Matakana Village. We will be holding the ceremony in the new Lotus Bell Tent. Please meet in the cafe and arrive 5 mins before we begin.

• We will have a number of cushions/blankets available but feel free to BYO too. 
• Wear comfortable clothes and bring layers
• Journal and pen
• Water bottle
• Vessel/Cup for Cacao
