A cacao ceremony will deepen your capacity to engage renewing and transformative emotions such as gratitude, compassion, forgiveness, and dignity. It will give you the space to rest deeply and reset your nervous system. The cacao, sound technology, and structure of the ceremony put the body into the best state for self-healing and access to spiritual guidance and creativity.

Individuals are feeling more and more internal pressure to achieve, “succeed,” and keep up with a rapidly transforming technological environment. This level of stress and speed puts an unsustainable strain on our nervous system.

In general, we are experiencing an ever-present feeling of “not good enough” and urgency, with the resultant feelings of disappointment and depletion. In this urgent and depleted state, it is difficult to attend to the wise whispers of our heart and spirit and the nurturing nudges of our soul that are always able to guide us so well—when we can listen.

We require access to a metaphorical oasis in order to rejuvenate and relax. A place to unburden ourselves and slow down our nervous systems. An opportunity to reconnect with deep stillness and true inner listening.

There are as many ways to run a Cacao Ceremony as there are individuals with the skills and the will to do it.

The approach to these ceremonies tends to draw in individuals who value care and kindness. Those who are selflessly serving others but require a safe, grounded, warm, and welcoming environment to “top up.”

Access to a space to do their own inner work. with the support of the structured but non-dogmatic ceremony, the heart-centered, earnest people we tend to attract, our commitment to creating a genuine environment for the qualities of humanity to flourish, and a space where people report they can feel safe to let go into.

Our approach to facilitating a Cacao Ceremony focuses on:
– A parasympathetic system response in the autonomic nervous system (rest, digest, restore, heal, relax)
– A connection to qualities of humanity – such as gratitude, compassion, inner latitude, and a knowing of our own worthiness
– A connection to the divine mystery – our heart and spirit’s wisdom and creativity, the ineffably majesty of life, and a nourishment of the soul

It isn’t about movement or an outward focus; it is about stillness and an inward focus. There is plenty of “doing” going on in our lives. This is an opportunity to pause and… exhale.

We work with empirically-based guided meditation, sound technology that supports the brain waves to gently slow down (allowing us to more easily access more refined states of consciousness), specific non-dogmatic ceremonial practises to ensure a purposefully set and held space, and of course, the pharmacology and spirit of the cacao.
