Winter solstice- the shortest day and the longest night.

We will gather in the darkness of dawn to drink the medicine of the heart and then welcome in the sun with a big wild dance.

How often do we dance together to welcome the sun? This will be the creation of a magical memory you won't forget!

We invite you to venture into your body, your being and explore with the support of two medicines used for centuries by humans; Cacao & Dance.

We will explore themes of shadow and of light. Of going inwards to collect the wisdom of what resides in the dark to then return back into the light with treasures of the soul.

An inner journey facilitated by the darkness of the pre-dawn where we will gather at 6:30am, into the light of the sun that will rise at 7:30am.

A journey of beauty and transformation with the changing light and seasons of the earth.

This event is free-form ecstatic dance. There are no rules other than no talking on the dance floor. As Mary Oliver reminds us… “Let the soft animal of your body love what it loves”. You will be guided by the music and filled with the collective energy of humans celebrating.

Love Bean Cacao is sourced from Indiegnous Women’s Collective Rukux Ulew (Heart of the Earth) in Guatemala. It holds the energy of Mayan lands, deeply connected to ceremony & the wisdom of the ancestors.

Audrey Warren // Love Bean Cacao

Audrey is deeply connected to the medicine of Cacao, working with this plant since 2014 when she met her teacher Keith Wilson, known affectionately as the Cacao Shaman, in Guatemala. She has been facilitating ceremonies in the USA and Guatemala and Australia. In 2017 Audrey began working with Mayan daykeepers (spiritual guides/elders) and has formed a strong connection to the Mayan wisdom, culture and traditions. She has permission from her Mayan teacher to work with this medicine. She is also a dance-addict. Believing deeply in the medicine of this expression!

Sophia Leone // Earth is a She

Sophia Leone is the founder of Earth is a She (www.earthisashe.com) a collection of events that connect people more deeply to themselves, to others, and to our precious Earth. She offers women's circles, Osho meditations, deep ecology gatherings- modalities that have personally transformed her life. She has a postgraduate degree in Psychology and is a Level 3 graduate of the Authentic Relating International facilitation program. She has been passionately embodying the work of Authentic Relating over the last three years.

Saturn is Sophia’s DJ name. Saturn is inspired by the freedom, the love, the joy she has experienced on the dusty dance floors of wholesome festivals.
