Wanting to give film processing a try? Have you previously processed by yourself and looking to branch out and make your own chemicals? Want to explore the potential for more environmentally conscious ways of processing film?

Come and try our caffenol (instant coffee based) film processing workshop!

This intermediate workshop is designed for participants who are comfortable with a camera and have some knowledge of film processing.

BYO roll of 35mm or 120mm HP5+400 film that you have already shot.

We will begin by introducing the history and chemical theory of caffenol, and explore different recipe options. Participants will then be guided in mixing a developer solution and hand processing their film, and we will talk about what you need to set yourself up for up processing at home.

Participants will leave with an analogue proof sheet and processed roll of negatives.

All chemistry and equipment will be provided for the in-class workshop.
