Thu, Nov 13, 9pm - 11pm EST

Event description

Many cultures see autumn as the harvest season, a time to appreciate our vast grasslands...those ephemeral fields that rustle in the wind year round.

Join us for an exciting online event where Ella Andersson will delve into the world of California grasses. Discover the morphology of these unique plants, learn about their horticulture requirements, and explore their role in ecology. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just curious about native flora, this event is perfect for anyone interested in the diverse grass species found in California. Don't miss out on this opportunity to expand your knowledge and appreciation for these often-overlooked plants!

This class will be held online and recorded. Zoom login instructions will be included in the reminder emails. Registered students will have access to a recording of the class for 2 weeks after the live event.

Ella Andersson is TPF's Chief Botanical Technician and a certified horticulturalist with many years of expertise. Her focus is on the conservation and preservation of our local and regional habitats, and on facilitating resilient garden spaces that support healthy ecosystems and create connectivity and joy.
