• Do I need to register or book tickets in advance?

  Yes, registration is FREE and essential. Tickets will be checked on arrival.

• What time is the event?

  The festival opens at 10am. Last entry is 1:30pm and the event will end at 2pm.

• What is the purpose of timed entry?

  Timed entry helps manage crowd numbers, minimise queues, and ensure all visitors

  can enjoy activities comfortably.

• What if I am late to my timed entry session?

  Late arrivals are welcome and will be admitted upon arrival. Final entry is 1:30pm

• Is there an age limit or restrictions on activities?

  Most activities are inclusive for people of all ages and abilities. Some activities such as High Ropes have age and/or height guidelines for safety — these will be clearly signposted.

• Is food available on site?

  Yes, a range of food and drinks will be available to purchase, including allergy-friendly and budget-friendly options. You are also welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the beautiful surroundings of Cahoots Adventure Camp.

• Is parking available?

  Yes, parking is FREE and available at Cahoots Adventure Camp. Parking attendants will be present on the day.

  Limited parking is available close to the festival entrance for those who need it.

• What should I leave at home?

  For the comfort and safety of all attendees, the following items are not permitted at

  Cahoots Festival of Fun:

  • Pets (assistance/support animals are welcome on a lead)

  • Alcohol or illegal substances

  • Glass containers

  • Weapons or sharp objects

• What accessibility considerations have you made?

  Making this event accessible and inclusive is central to our planning. The venue features wheelchair accessible parking, toilets and quiet spaces. All staff receive disability awareness training and have a valid working with children check.

  We are offering a Quiet Hour from 9:30 - 10:30am where there will be no live performances, reduced festival capacity and no microphones or loud speakers will be used during this time.

  It is important to note that this is an outdoor event held within the beautiful, natural surroundings of Cahoots Adventure Camp. Sealed paths are limited and most ground surface is unsealed (eg. grass, compacted limestone. However, both manual and powerdrive wheelchairs have been used on our paths and lawns without concern.

• What considerations have you made for people with sensory sensitivities?

  We offer sensory-friendly zones, quiet spaces, low-stimulus activities, and clearly signposted loud areas. In 2026, Sensory Kits containing a variety of resources, including ear defenders and fidgets, will also be available to borrow for the day.

• Is there a social story for the event?

  Yes, a social story will be available online before the event and at the entrance on the day of the festival.

• Can we bring support items like prams, wheelchairs, weighted blankets, or fidgets?

  Absolutely, all support items are welcome.

• Do activities require waiting in lines?

  Depending on crowds, some activities may require a 10 minute wait. We aim to minimise waiting times through timed entry sessions and plenty of activity options to appeal to a wide variety of people.

  Shaded waiting areas are provided, and there will be roving performers to help keep everyone entertained.

• What happens if my child has a meltdown or needs extra support?

  Quiet spaces and trained staff are available. Seek out a Cahoots staff member in a purple shirt for assistance.

• Can support workers or additional carers attend?

  Yes. Everyone is welcome! Family, friends, carers, support workers are all welcome. Cahoots does not provide duty of care at the event.

• Are there any loud noises or crowds to be aware of?

  There will be a stage with musical performances. This area is clearly marked on the festival map.
