Cairns Bollywood Charity Ball
Event description
Get ready to spice up your life and experience a night like no other at the Bollywood Charity Ball. Let's Create Events is excited to bring the vibrant and rich Indian Art, Culture, Dance & Music to Cairns, Far North Queensland.
All profits from this event will be donated to the Cherish Women Cancer Foundation, an organization that focuses on clinical trials and research programs for gynecological cancers. Gynecological cancer affects over 6,700 women annually in Australia, and we want to make a difference by increasing research into quality treatments for these cancer patients.Â
The event is held close to Indian New Year celebrated on 12th November 2023 known as Deepawali. Deepawali is a time of joy, happiness, where people come together to celebrate with their loved ones, family and friends through home-cooked Indian food and sweats, bright and colourful home decorations, and lighting candles. Hence the theme of the even being Bright and Colourful with a touch of Bollywood Music and Dance.Â
