Welcome to Tropical North Queensland's premier literary arts event, designed to delight readers, writers and thinkers over the weekend of 8-10 March 2024.
Immerse yourself in conversation over this 3-day celebration of storytelling. Share books, writing and ideas by engaging with authors and joining in workshops, readings, conversations and social events – some free, some paid – all within a stone’s throw of the stunning Cairns Esplanade.

CTWF2024 will take place in the Festival Hub, comprising Crystalbrook Flynn on the Cairns Esplanade and the Cairns City Library on Abbott Street.
General Admission tickets include the Official Opening Ceremony, main program presentations and Books On The Boardwalk, located in Crystalbrook Flynn's Boardwalk Social.
General Admission tickets do not include ENDO DAYS at CPAC, CTWF catered events (International Women's Day Storytellers Lunch on Friday 8 March 2024 and CTWF Literary Dinner on Saturday 9 March) and workshops, each of which will be ticketed separately.
