Cake A Palooza

Inspired by one of our incredible Volunteer Puppy Raiser's, Varcha, we have teamed up with Lumina Studio and Honey Child's Creole for a dog themed Cake-a-Palooza. Join us as we raise funds for our Guide Dogs, eat a lot of cake and introduce everyone to the amazing work of our Puppy Raisers.

Here’s how it works:

• Bring a cake decorated in a dog theme — homemade or store-bought, (we don’t judge, we just eat)

• One by one, the cakes will appear. Observe. Appreciate. Strategise your slice.

• Plan your first slice wisely — everyone chooses just one to begin

• First, we enjoy one glorious slice with tea, coffee, chats and laughter

• Meet our Puppy Raisers and the current Puppies in Training

• Buy a Raffle Ticket, tickets will be available on the day for an array of incredible prizes valued up to $200.

• Then… it’s time to fill your take-home cake box (yes, we provide it!) with whatever treats catch your eye

• No judging, no pressure — just good vibes and great cake

Puppy Development Volunteers assist Guide Dogs Tasmania in the rearing of well-behaved and socialised puppies, that can then enter formal training at a suitable age of development.

There are a number of volunteer roles available to suit different lifestyles and situations. We provide everything the dog will need including bedding, food, toys, collars, leads and veterinary care.
