Book launch for Calling the Guru from Afar, a journey into the world of the remarkable yoginis of Gebchak Gonpa, a nunnery in a remote valley in the Eastern Tibetan region of Nangchen, known as the land of the meditators. Join Dr Elizabeth Mc Dougal (Tenzin Chozom) at Temple on the Park, Newtown, as she talks about these nuns and their practice, and explains why this book is so important, and so interesting to read.
