Calming Companions (Youthful Creatives) 23/4

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Join us as we explore the construction and therapeutic benefits of creating, and decorating, personalised calm down bottles; designed to help regulate emotions and calm the nervous system. Discover the power of sensory tools and create your own portable oasis of tranquility.

In this engaging workshop, participants will learn how to craft their own calm down bottles; mesmerising sensory tools designed to provide a soothing and calming effect. We'll enjoy an exciting creative experience together; providing all the necessary materials along with guidance to support you in the design and creation. There are exciting colours, decorations and sparkles to play with throughout this process and you'll go home with your wonderful calming companion tool to use for years and years to come!

As you decorate and personalise your calm down bottle, we'll also discuss various relaxation and mindfulness techniques that can be incorporated into your calming practice. These techniques can be used in conjunction with the calm down bottle to further enhance the soothing effect and promote a sense of inner peace.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have your very own customised calm down bottle, ready to be used as a powerful tool for emotional regulation and relaxation. Take it home with you and incorporate it into your daily routine, using it as a resource to find calm amidst the busyness of life.
