The perfect way to see out 2024 and ring in the New Year with your family is in Caloundra.

Caloundra's New Year's Eve Celebrations at the Kings Beach Amphitheatre, an event, proudly hosted by the Sunshine Coast Official Food Truck Association (SCOFTA) and sponsored by the Sunshine Coast Council, promises an evening of family fun, food, and fireworks.

Starting at 4pm on December 31, 2024, the Kings Beach Amphitheatre will transform into a vibrant hub of activity. The stunning beachside setting and a plethora of activities to keep everyone entertained.

The event will feature a substantial array of food trucks offering every local cuisine of street food you can imagine. From gourmet burgers to exotic Asian delights, there's something to satisfy every palate. It's a celebration of the vibrant food truck culture that SCOFTA champions, bringing diverse and delicious cuisine to our Sunshine Coast community.

For the little ones, there are kids rides and face painting, ensuring they have a blast while you relax and soak in the festive atmosphere. As the sun sets, grab a spot on the grass for a movie under the stars, starting at 7.45pm. It's the perfect opportunity for a family picnic, so pack your blankets and settle in for a cozy evening.

The spectacular fireworks display will set off at 9.30pm, courtesy of the Sunshine Coast Council. Watch the sky light up in a dazzling array of colours, marking the end of 2024 and the beginning of a new year. The event wraps up at 10pm, giving you plenty of time to head home and continue the celebrations.
