Camp Bettie is back! Join us for a fun-filled adult summer camp weekend for women and non-binary individuals who are looking for inclusion, connection and fun!
Think of classic camp fun like archery, canoeing, campfires, tie-dye and a dance party, balanced with space to relax, recharge, and just be yourself. Choose your own adventure and sign up for workshops like campfire cooking, yoga, or a meditation hike. Pamper yourself with a massage, permanent jewelry, a flash tattoo or a psychic reading. It's an experience you didn't know you needed!
Campers will get to partake in a wealth of traditional and non-traditional camp activities all weekend as well as your choice in style of camping at YMCA Camp Shady Brook in Deckers, Colorado. Choose from canvas tent camping, rustic cabin camping, or our premium lodges!
Camp Bettie is hosted by Bad Bettie Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Fostering friendship since 2016, Bad Bettie Project supports authentic community both online and IRL by creating avenues to friendship for women, non-binary folx, and those who are otherwise marginalized in our communities across the country.

FAQs
- What is included in my ticket?
All tickets include meals from dinner Friday - breakfast Sunday, lodging, YMCA Activities (archery, tomahawk, ropes course), tie dye, snacks provided by Bad Bettie Project, 2 drink tickets, a welcome package, and more!
- What comes extra with VIP?
VIP campers receive a bunk in one of our premium lodges (which means a bathroom is attached) and included luggage service (the YMCA staff will cart your luggage right to your cabin door)! VIP campers also receive first dibs on signups for any new services that are added, $10 in Bettie Bucks (our camp currency), and extra special goodies upon check in.
- Can I purchase add-ons at a later time?
Yes - if you aren't sure about any of our add-ons when you sign up, you can always come back and purchase them later!
- Can I set up a payment plan?
Yes! With a deposit, monthly payments can be made, with equal payments divided over the months remaining until August 31st (when ticket sales close).
- What kinds of activities will there be?
You'll be able to enjoy traditional camp activities like archery, high ropes course, canoeing, campfires and tie-dye. Additionally, you can attend volunteer-led workshops such as campfire cooking, yoga, a meditation hike, intro to power tools, and much more! If you want to be pampered, you can sign up for an add-on such as massages, permanent jewelry, or a psychic reading. You get to choose your own adventure!
- If I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately since we are a small non-profit, no refunds will be able to be given. This year, we are offering the ability to add purchase protection to your ticket. Additionally, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person.

Paige has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2016 and has a practice in Fairplay, CO. This is her 3rd year at Camp Bettie. Her technique is working the attachment sites of muscle to bone and then the body of the muscle, which is effective in releasing tension yet relaxing. Schedule a 30 minute service with her at Camp or find her in Fairplay. Laura is a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in deep-tissue massage, pain management and injury prevention. She has 8 years of experience and a passion for health and the outdoors. Schedule with Laura to reduce discomfort, recover effectively and return to the activities you love.
