Ever wanted to go camping but didn't know where to start?

Camp Confident is designed for people who have always wanted to experience camping but felt unsure about choosing gear, setting up a campsite or spending the night outdoors.

Whether you're completely new to camping, returning after many years, travelling solo, or new to Australia and keen to experience the outdoors, this workshop will help you build confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment.

About your instructor

Hi, I'm Bec.

I'm a Melbourne primary school teacher and the founder of Camp Confident.

Over the last three years I've spent countless weekends buying, testing and using different camping gear to discover what really works and what beginners can safely ignore.

I created Camp Confident because I believe camping doesn't have to be intimidating. With the right guidance, anyone can enjoy Australia's incredible outdoors.
