Want to make a real difference in a young person's life?
Join the Camp CONNECT leader team.
Our volunteer leaders come from QCCC's Campfire Internship, CampLife Gap Year programs, CrossLife, and Christian communities across SE Queensland. No prior experience is required — we provide full training.
As a leader, you'll:
Receive dedicated pre-camp training, mentoring, and real responsibility
Be a consistent, caring adult presence for kids who need exactly that
Spend a training weekend getting to know the team, our values, and how camp runs
Training Weekend:
This is where it all begins. Picture a fire crackling, good food, late-night laughter, and a weekend spent becoming a team before the kids arrive to the campsite. From Friday night through Monday morning, you'll get to know your fellow leaders, get across our camp values and how everything runs, and walk away trained, ready, and genuinely excited for the week.
Includes: Accommodation and meals from Friday night through Monday morning, plus hands-on training in teamwork, leadership, and camping ministry
Contribution: $50, covering your whole training weekend
