Camp Live Well

An event great for kids with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, Camp Live Well provides a fun and engaging environment with other kids living with diabetes to help them learn the skills they'll need to better manage their diabetes for the rest of their lives. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, water balloons, camp olympics, and games. Each year a special activity is planned, such as the fun "petting zoo" brought to the event center the past two years.

Cost is $160 per child. We ask for a $50 deposit up front, and that the remaining balance be paid prior to the first day of camp. Payments can be made over the phone or by mailing a check to Great Plains Diabetes. Scholarships are available upone request, but registration will require the $50 deposit. Siblings (within the stated age range) are welcome if space allows.
