Camp Roundup: A Body Positive Camp

Remember summer camp when the most you had to worry about was what was for lunch or who is going to capture the flag? Did you miss out on this growing up and want to make up for lost time?
Camp Roundup is a Fat Camp in the best sense of the word. It's a place where Fat Babes ages 21 and up can feel comfortable and supported as we play, swim, dance, eat, celebrate our diverse bodies and most importantly have fun!
Tickets include:
- 3 day 2 night stay in our retro rustic cabins This isn't glamping, it's summer camp! Bring your sleeping bag and pillows for sleepover fun. Long sturdy twin sized camp beds are provided 8 to a cabin, 4 cabins total. Shared electrical outlets provided.
- Shared bathhouse with showers and attached laundry washer and dryer.
- All meals included, vegetarian and gluten free options available upon request. Unlimited snacks, sugar free lemonade, sugar free fruit punch and iced water. Alcohol not included, but BYOB is encouraged!
- Pool parties at our in-ground pool.
- Access to our campground including hiking trails, volleyball, gaga ball, basketball, craft cabin, and GIANT SLIP AND SLIDE!!!
- Yoga, guided meditation, arts and crafting classes, dance classes and improv comedy workshops. Break-out sessions on the topics of body positivity, overcoming anti-fat bias, fashion talk, fat media, etc.
- Late night dance party and karaoke
- All camp bonfire and marshmallow roast
- Camp Roundup t-shirt and reusable water bottle to keep you hydrated
- Opening and closing camp ceremonies where we say goodbye to all our new best friends.

About Our Location:
Camp O'Bannon is a United Way funded summer camp for under-served youth in Newark Ohio. Camp O'Bannon's leaders have generously let us rent their beautiful grounds in the off season while cooking us up 6 delicious meals full of fun camp comfort food (think spaghetti and meatballs, grilled cheese and tomato soup, hamburgers and hot dogs, plus lots of fruits and veggies)
What to Bring:
- Comfy clothes that you don't mind getting dirty: shorts, t-shirts, sweatshirt for chilly nights
- Themed clothes for the dance party if you like (not a requirement, but we'll have lots of photo opportunities)
- Sneakers and flip flops or shower shoes
- Sleeping bag or blankets and pillows (camp has some, but they are very basic)
- Swim suit!!
- A bath towel and a pool towel
- Shower caddy
- BYOBs
Bring a group to celebrate a birthday or bachelorette party, come alone or bring your bff.
