🌠 Camp SCRAP...for Adults!!! (Evening Edition) 🌠 - MASKED

Do you miss the childlike crafting of your youth? Do you in fact totally still make your old favorite crafts from when you were twelve? Either way, you are invited to Camp SCRAP...for Adults!!! (Evening Edition!) This Wednesday and Thursday night, join us after your work day and make bead lizards, automatons, magic wands, and more. It's a taste of arts & crafts summer camp, but for adults who want to make crafty new friends! Come and craft ✂️ in 🤝 community!

Below, find the camp themes each evening. Every camp will also offer the following CLASSIC camp crafts:

• Bead lizards
• Friendship bracelets
• Lanyards
• Shrinky dinks

Wednesday, July 24: Magic & Mystery
Crafts include magic wands, potion bottles, wizard hats, amulets, and crow altars.

• 5:30-6:30: Craft block #1
• 6:30-6:50: Break for a snack, a stretch, a chat!
• 7pm: Store closes to the public
• 7pm-8:30pm: Craft block #2

Thursday, July 25: Automatons & Popup Mechanisms
Crafts include detailed crank box automatons and beautiful pop-up cards. 

• 5:30-6:30: Craft block #1
• 6:30-6:50: Break for a snack, a stretch, a chat!
• 7pm: Store closes to the public
• 7pm-8:30pm: Craft block #2

Crafting starts at 5:30pm, but be sure to arrive before 7pm! This will be an after-hours event; at 7pm, the store/registers will close, and the front door will lock to the shopping public. (Guests ready to head home after 7pm will do so through our Donations door!)

Masking/Accessibility Note: This is a MASKS-REQUIRED event. SCRAP will provide any extra masks if needed. However, do take caution that in order to get to the Education Studio where the event will take place, participants will have to walk through the store, where customer mask-wearing is strongly encouraged but is not strictly enforced (for the safety of our staff). If you have any sensory issues or other concerns about the masking requirement, please email us at portlandeducation@scrapcreativereuse.org and we will see what kinds of accommodations can be made!

Ages 18+.

To reserve your spot/seats before the event, tickets should be purchased in advance through Humanitix for a slight discount ($24 plus fees). Tickets will not be sold at the door for this event! All event ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you cannot make it to the event, please feel free to send a friend in your place. If you are unable to do that, we still cannot refund your ticket, but you could think of your payment as supporting our SCRAPpy little creative reuse non-profit! We appreciate your support and understanding!
