Event description

Join us for this FREE event!

Dementia is often seen as a natural part of ageing — but what if we could detect the warning signs years earlier?

Join us for a fascinating evening with Dr Erin Cawston, one of the lead investigators at the Dementia Prevention Research Clinic in Auckland, and PhD candidate Harriet Spoelstra. They’ll share insights from their groundbreaking research on the brain’s early biological signals found in blood, and explore how this knowledge could help identify people at risk of developing dementia.

You’ll hear directly from two of New Zealand’s most promising dementia researchers, ask your own questions, and gain a deeper understanding of one of the most urgent neurological health challenges of our time.

Why Attend:

  • Learn about the latest research into early detection of dementia

  • Hear directly from New Zealand-based clinical researchers

  • Take part in the conversation during a live Q&A

  • Attend in person or online

Who Should Attend:
Anyone interested in brain health, dementia prevention, or the science behind ageing and memory.

Please note: Limited seating is available for the in-person session.
