Can You Afro?'s mission is to elevate and celebrate Afro dance in Australia through dance battles, workshops and community.

Our June December workshops are here!! With the incomparable Double Trouble ( Geny and Lady Chika ) and Azzam Hassan aka Shazam. 

New Date!!! Dec 5th 2021 1:00pm to 4:15pm

Venue: Connection Studios 

          Level 1/103 Foveaux St, Surry Hills NSW 2010 

    • Freestyle Lab with Shazam 1:00pm - 2:30pm 

    Dance, perform, or compete in an improvised or unrestricted fashion on any dance floor. This workshop will provide tips and tricks to unlock the freestyler within you. Getting you ready for your first or next dance battle, Jam, Party, Performance. 

    • Afro-fusion Workshop with Double Trouble 2:45pm - 4:15pm
      Afro- fusion is the blend of dance styles from all over the African continent. This style workshop will focus on Form, Foundations and Fun. Deepening your understanding and vocabulary of afro dance.
