Canberra September Cause Club: Plastic Free Picnic
Description
Join us in Canberra for our September Cause Club!! 🌊
This month, we’re taking things outside and teaming up with Take 3 for the Sea to help keep rubbish out of our waterways and oceans.
The plan: We’ll kick things off with a plastic-free picnic, hang out with some excellent humans, then wander along the creek in Haig Park collecting rubbish as we go. Good chats, fresh air, cleaner river. Very wholesome.
Bring: A little something for the picnic, whether that’s a snack just for you, something to share, or your chance to casually reveal that you’re an elite baker. The only rule: no single-use plastic, please.
Together, we’ll:
🗑️ Collect rubbish before it makes its way into our waterways
🤝 Meet some lovely, like-minded people
