Re-discover an iconic classic, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, in this re-imagination by Max Richter.

Reworking the timeless music of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Richter's new setting blends minimalist and neo-classical ideas together to create an extraordinary and unforgettable modern masterpiece. Premiered just under a decade ago, Vivaldi Re-composed rapidly gained popularity, soon topping the classical music charts in the UK, Germany, and the US. With all the best Vivaldi melodies and more, this program is one that will intrigue and delight.

If you enjoy the classics like Vivaldi and Mozart, or the atmosphere of newer composers like Philip Glass or Arvo Pärt, this performance is for you!

Featuring the dazzling virtuosity of Helena Popovic, our concertmaster and soloist, you won't want to miss this exuberant season finale. We are proud to continue our 2022 season highlighting some of the most amazing musicians in our National Capital.

A co-founder of the Canberra Sinfonia, violinist Helena Popovic is an alumna of the ANU School of Music and member of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

A prolific chamber and orchestral musician, Helena was previously appointed Concertmaster of the Canberra Youth Orchestra, Concertmaster of the National Capital Orchestra, Concertmaster of the SBS Radio and Television Orchestra and Associate Concertmaster of the Sydney Youth Orchestra (Flagship).
