Candice Milner and Friends Presents

Candice Milner is an indie‑folk‑rock songwriter hailing from the port town of Lyttelton, Ōtautahi. Her work frequently explores semi‑sarcastic meditations on heartbreak, ambition, and other vague or monotonous topics. Balancing sweetness with grit, Milner’s songwriting blends intimate folk storytelling with grungy undertones and emotional bite.

Milner’s debut album Evergreen launched her onto the national stage, landing in the Top 10 on the NZ Music Charts and earning her a finalist position for the Tui – Best Folk Artist of the year, following a national New Zealand tour. Since then, Candice has taken her guitar, angelic melodies, and raw lyrics across the world

Candice takes the stage with her 5 piece band at LAF, to raise money to produce her third studio album. This is set to be released within the next 12 months. Some very special guests appear with Candice throughout the evening, so perhaps consider purchasing a front row seat at one of the cabaret tables.
