The City of Sydney Council election is Saturday 14th September.
The Committee of Rainbow Precinct is organising a Candidates' Forum on Tuesday 27th August 2024 at the National Art School, Darlinghurst. 6pm-8pm.
Join the Lord Mayor, Clover Moore and other Lord Mayoral candidates to address what they believe are issues of importance to our community. We have asked them to particularly focus on the footprint of Oxford St, Taylor Sq and surrounds. The panel of candidates will also answer specific questions posed by the business representatives from the community.
Topics include, but are not limited to, safety and security, the Night Time Economy, developments and disruptions, plans for future investment into our area.
Presented by Rainbow Precinct, National Art School, Qtopia, Darlinghurst Business Partnership, Night Time Industries Association, HQ Sydney, Sydney Star Observer, Eastside Sydney and the Surry Hills Liquor Accord.
This event will be moderated by commentator and journalist Melissa Hoyer.
Please arrive at 5.30pm for event registration and a 6pm start.
