Workshop Overview

Join CandleXchange for a hands-on, purpose-led candle-making experience that combines creativity, sustainability, and social impact.

In this 45-minute workshop, participants will:

Discover why most candle containers aren't recyclable and the environmental cost of candle waste.
Learn about CandleXchange’s circular model, including our Return & Swap service and the UpCandle program, which transforms donated containers (from any brand) into new candles for local charities such as Relove.
Understand how conscious material choices and circular thinking can reduce waste and create social value.
Create an upcycled candle for donation – choose a natural fragrance, place the wick, and pour your own soy wax candle, which will be gifted to someone in need.
Optionally, register to make a second candle to take home for yourself.
This workshop is a meaningful way to connect, create, and contribute to a more sustainable and compassionate community. Suitable for ages 12+.

Additional Offer

Interested in making a second candle to keep? Pay $30 on the day for an upcycled candle (approx. 400g candle).
Candles will be ready for collection 3 hours after pouring to allow time to set.
