Candlelight Restorative Yoga, Chakras and Sound

The stress of the day will immediately melt away when you enter the calming yoga room filled with candlelight. Feel deeply relaxed as you are supported by yoga props into gentle restorative poses (suitable for all abilities) that will allow the soothing sounds of the crystal bowls to surround you. A perfect chance to be present and take time for yourself.

Restorative yoga can help you truly unwind through a combination of floor-based yoga poses in which you hold the poses for a longer duration – anywhere from 5-15 minutes activating the parasympathetic nervous system (our rest and relax response). Infused through the practice will be awareness to the theme Chakra (energy centres in the body) and accompanied by the crystal sound bowls will ensure a beautiful yoga experience like no other.

This is an 8 Week Block limited to a small group for a supportive experience.

Tuesday February 13 from 7pm to 8pm (1hr) and concludes April 2.

MOVEMENT: Very gentle restorative yoga moves that are held for up to 10 minutes supported with the use of props such as bolsters and blocks.

SOUND: A therapeutic sound frequency to guide you into a deep relaxation using crystal sound bowls

MEDITATION: A guided meditation to welcome and manifest new intentions.

EDUCATION: Learn more about each Chakra and how to incorporate this into your life.

WHAT TO BRING:

Please wear comfortable , flowy clothing and layers to keep warm.
Yoga Mat & Blankets & Bolsters are provided in the studio but we love to be comfy so please bring your own props if you have them.
Water bottle to keep hydrated.
A notepad and pen should you feel called to journal or take notes.

Leah Williamson is a 350 hour Yoga Teacher trained in Hatha, Restorative, Yin, Pre and Post Natal, Pelvic Floor, Advanced modifications, Children and Teen Yoga. Leah is also an Integrated Sound and Yoga Teacher and Women’s Circle Facilitator. Certificates, current First Aid, Insurance and Blue Card to work with children provided on request.

Cancelation Policy

*One (1) Week cancellation policy. In the event that the participant must cancel the full block an admin fee of $50 will deducted from refund or payment can be transferred to a subsequent 8 week block.

In the event the participant misses a class there will be no refund of the class but class can be made up in a subsequent block mutually agreed upon by both participant and teacher.

** Full refund will be provided if minimum numbers (3 people) are not reached.
