Hot Piece is a new Sydney band that blends fuzzed-out guitars with front woman Mel Tickle’s lush vocals and high wire melodies. Formed by the singer-songwriter and Brisbane native in 2024, the group takes cues from Australian icons The Go-Betweens, Underground Lovers and RVG; spinning images of the everyday with raw lyricism and four-chord power.Hot Piece is Mel Tickle (vocals, guitar), John-Henry Pajak (drums), Ravi Gupta (bass) and Dan Cunningham (guitar).
