Come & join Canon, Nanlite & Ted’s Cameras for the ultimate Food Styling Workshop!!
Are you looking at developing your food styling skills or are you new to food photography, then come and join us at the rustic The Mill Restaurant in Hardware Lane for a workshop that will have your senses on overload while capturing unique Chef prepared dishes. We will be there to assist you with learning the concepts of composition, lighting, Depth of field and focusing to get your winning shot!
We will also give you inspiration of how to style using a variety of props and arranging food to give it a look that is visually appealing no matter what you are using your images for.
You will learn:
- Photography Fundamentals
- Choosing the right angles that tell a story
- Composition
- Understanding Camera placement – Where you place your camera will influence the type of story you are trying to tell
- Using Props – Discovering the right props to suit the food you are shooting
- Using Light – Natural, artificial and using reflectors
What to bring:
- Your DSLR or Mirrorless camera (all brands welcome!) Don't forget to charge your batteries and bring spares.
- Memory card so you can keep your photos at the end of the workshop.
- Notepad and pen to take notes.
Canon will have a range of R series Cameras available for you to try out during the event. Please make sure to bring Photo ID for Loan Equipment.
