Canterbury Health Innovation November 2024 Event
Event description
CELEBRATING LOCAL INNOVATION
Please join us for the final CHI networking event for the year, kindly hosted by MARS Bioimaging Limited.
MARS Bioimaging Limited (MBI) has plenty to celebrate in 2024. In addition to moving into new premises in the health precinct earlier this year, they have recently been approved for a photon-counting CT camera by Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This reinforces MBI’s position as a leader in innovative imaging technology.
In September, Chief Medical Officer, Professor Anthony Butler received the NZRET Pikimairawea Award in Radiology by The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. This recognition highlights his ongoing pursuit of innovation in medical imaging.
MBI was founded in Christchurch in 2007 to commercialise the cutting-edge Medipix technology and bring photon-counting CT to the clinic. MBI has established itself as the world’s leading research and development group in spectral molecular imaging, working closely with customers to provide a wide range of spectral imaging solutions for applications ranging from cancer detection to development of novel contrast agents.
Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to hear more about MBI and catch up with others from the CHI network. We look forward to seeing you very soon!
