Canterbury Tech February 2024 Monthly Event
Event description
Canterbury Tech February 2024 Monthly Event
Join us for our first in-person event of 2024 with presenter Tim Jackson, Co-Founder of My Native Forest
Tim will be talking about 'Digitising the Native Forest' and how My Native Forest is using AI and open-sourced libraries to visualise future forest environments here in Aotearoa.
Join Tim as he walks you through one of their digital native forests, providing some technical explanations into different parts of their software stack with the technology they are currently utilising, and where they are taking this technology into the future.
My Native Forest leverages technology to offer a transparent and traceable approach to reforestation, making environmental impact tangible and measurable through real-time monitoring of funded forests and clear reporting on their carbon return.
