Event description
Canterbury Tech Monthly Event - July 2022
Join us at our upcoming monthly Canterbury Tech event where we will hear from Doug Talbot discussing ideas to help win on your digital journey. Doug will provide a summary of years of striving for better Digital outcomes and living through many wins and losses. This covers an attempt to structure the core elements that help and get in the way of a highly mature Digital organisation, culture, product and engineering.
About our speaker: Doug Talbot is a passionate technologist. He has worked in technology forever, from coder to C-level, who is committed to creating the best organisations possible. His experience is from 20 years experience leading engineering teams and digital transformations of organisations from 30 to 12000 staff, from government to robotics and NZ to Bulgaria. He is an editor for InfoQ on Culture and Methods and has spoken frequently on Agile and Organisation Dynamics. Doug has just returned from 10 years in the UK where in one role he assisted the UK government in Digital Capability assessments of the governments of Mexico, South Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia and Columbia.
