    Canterbury Tech July Monthly Event

    Join us for a collaborative presentation from our guest speakers, Naomi Ambrose of Open Plan and Alistair McIntyre of Catalyst IT

    They will be presenting, 'Rebuilding NZ using open source GIS tools - tracking $71bn of infrastructure projects'

    About Naomi:

    With a background in business and project support for different organisations including CBRE, Tonkin & Taylor and ANZ in London and Auckland, she found herself working as a Comms Advisor on the earthquake recovery project (NCTIR) in Kaikoura where she met her future boss. She's now working a diverse role as the Comms and Engagement Lead for the National Forward Works Viewer.

    About Alistair:

    Alistair McIntyre is a Software Developer with a background in both Development and Operations. Alistair is passionate about mentoring others and using technology to enable better outcomes for everyone. At Catalyst IT Alistair somehow ended up becoming an expert in working with open source geospatial technologies and has most recently led development of the Forward Works Viewer.
