    Canterbury Tech March Monthly Event

    Join us, BNZ and guest speaker Berys Amour, CIO of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu for a night highlighting digital strategy for social impact. 

    She will be presenting, 'Developing a digital strategy for social good - the opportunities and the challenges.'

    About Berys Amour: 

    Berys Amor joined Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu as the Chief Information Officer in May 2022, after returning to Aotearoa NZ from living in Australia for more than 30 years. In Australia she worked in the technology industry in the professional services sector, including leadership roles for several top tier Australian law firms. Her experience includes responsibility for defining and executing strategy, program and project management, information security, service delivery, application support and training, and cloud and infrastructure. A key area of focus of her role at Ngāi Tahu is to develop and implement a digital strategy that will provide and promote the use of technology, data and processes to support and enable Ngāi Tahu whānui cultural, wellbeing, economic, education and environmental prosperity.

      Event Outline: 
      5.30pm - Registration opens, networking, drinks and nibbles 
      6.00pm - Canterbury Tech updates and a few words from BNZ
      6.20pm - Our guest speaker and Q&A time
      7.00pm - More networking
      7.30pm - Close of event

      Things to note:

          Event is on level 4 of inside the BNZ Centre. You will need to take the elevators up to level 4 to access event space. 

          IMPORTANT: We will be using a new registration process - Please have your QR code/ticket on your phone or printed out to check in at registration.
