What a great time for our Canterbury Tech community to come together, collaborate, share knowledge and discuss how we propose to expand and thrive as a growth sector for Aotearoa, New Zealand.
We invite all techies, techpreneurs, disruptors and technology ecosystem leaders to join us in September for the Canterbury Tech Summit.
It's a full day in person event - not to be missed!

PRICING
Member Tickets
Member tickets are strictly for those individuals or companies who are members of Canterbury Tech (your membership fees must be up to date).
- Member Standard Ticket: $249 + booking fee
Non-Member Tickets
- Non-Member Standard Ticket: $499 + booking fee
Student Tickets
Strictly limited. Available to those who are Student Members of Canterbury Tech. You must be in full time study.
- Student Member Ticket: $159 + booking fee

General
Where is the Summit located?
Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre
188 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch Central
Parking
There is no carpark located at Te Pae Christchurch.
There are however secure car parks located in close proximity to the centre.
Taxis
Taxis are welcome to drop you off outside the Te Pae building.
Bikes
There are bike hoops located on Oxford Terrace outside Te Pae Christchurch and covered bike parking facilities are available in close proximity to the centre.
Is there food and drinks at the conference?
Yes! Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Networking Drinks and Nibbles are included in the ticket price.
Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options will be catered for (on request).
Barista Coffee and water stations are provided throughout the venue.
Is there somewhere to store my belongings?
A coat check is available at the Guest Services Desk in the Ground Floor Foyer of Te Pae. This is free for guests to use.
Will there be Wifi?
Wifi will be available throughout the venue for the entirety of the conference.
Is there an events schedule available?
The event schedule will be published on our Event App and our website.
Tickets
I have registered for my ticket, how do I get my pass?
To get your entrance pass please present your ticket at the registration desk (printed or displayed on your phone).
Registrations will open at 8.00am on the 27th of September.
Are there tickets at the door?
Tickets are not available at the door.
Are there discounted tickets for students?
Yes, but you need to be a Canterbury Tech Student Member and these tickets are strictly limited.
Can I change the name on my ticket?
Absolutely. You can click on the ticket URL and change the name to another Canterbury Tech Member right up to 72 hours before the event.
After that, name change is not possible. Contact us if you have any problems.
Can I transfer my ticket to another person during the conference?
No, each ticket is valid to be used by one person only for the duration of the conference.
I can’t attend the Summit anymore. Can I get a refund?
We don't provide refunds, but you're welcome to reassign your ticket to someone else, up to 72 hours prior to the event. Simply click on ticket URL link and change the name.
Please note they must be a Canterbury Tech member if you are putting their name on a member ticket.
