Event description

Cantorum will sing Christmas music from the 16th to the 21st Centuries including the premiere of a new piece commissioned by the choir. This is the latest in our commission series where young New Zealand musicians compete for the chance to win the commission fee and have their music performed by the choir. This year the winning piece "The Coming of Christ" was composed by our Assistant Conductor Cameron McConchie. Cameron will conduct all of this concert and we will be joined by the wonderful Michael Bell on the organ.
