CANZ Canterbury Christmas Bus Trip 2025
Event description
The Christmas Bus trip has become a popular fixture on our annual calendar of events, and every year we try to offer something a little different to our members.
This year, we have taken that much loved movie “Four Weddings and a Funeral” as our theme, but in keeping with current trends, we have a focus on budget friendly DIY ceremonies.
So, join us for a bus trip around some community venues in south-east Christchurch, starting with a look at the Water Cremation Facility at Bell, Lamb and Trotter, hosted by Debbie from Water Cremation Aotearoa.
Morning tea and lunch are included in your ticket, as we tour these community venues:
Edmonds Factory Gardens for a morning tea picnic
South Brighton Surf Club
Mt Pleasant Community Centre for lunch
Ferrymead Historic Park (tram subject to availability)
Returning to Bell Lamb & Trotter by 3pm to collect your vehicle and head home, full of budget-friendly ideas to share with clients, and that all important seasonal Christmas cheer!
BOKs covered will be 1.4, 1.5, 1.7, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3
Attendees planning to come are welcome to ask questions leading up to the event.
Notes:
Celebrants meet up at Bell, Lamb & Trotter 420 St Asaph St, for the first visit of the bus trip and go from there. Free on street parking is available in the area.
The committee will be providing morning tea at Edmond’s Factory Garden, and light lunch at Mt Pleasant Community Centre Café. Members will be able to buy coffees and additional food if required from the Cafe.
