Capable Spaces was established in 2018 by Karen Maurer, an occupational therapist with over 23 years of experience, primarily in community OT roles. She has assembled a team of experienced clinicians who are enthusiastic about contributing their expertise and knowledge to the OT community.

Karen has been conducting hands-on training sessions for the past ten years, starting from various positions at Hunter New England Health and later moving into the private sector. Her passion lies in discovering and organising resources to support fellow clinicians and students in enhancing their skills and working more productively and efficiently.
