Cape Schanck - 17km's (One Way)

Event description

***Kindly note that this HIKE has been designed to promote fitness and will require a decent level of physical fitness to finish. We will maintain a moderate to brisk pace during this hike, completing 17 kilometres in slightly over three hours. Therefore, we suggest that you carefully review all event information and ensure that you can keep up with the group. If you don't engage in any physical activity during the week or lead a sedentary lifestyle, this hike may not be appropriate for you. Please check our shorter distance hikes at a more moderate pace***

This walk is not for beginners, I am sorry :(

YOU WILL REQUIRE GOOD STAMINA FOR THIS HIKE.

THIS IS A ONE WAY HIKE - We will return you to your car at the end!!

Sunday, September29th we are hiking ONE WAY from Cape Schanck into Greens Bush, visiting the iconic Bushrangers Bay along the way. Majority of this Hike will be along the Two bays walking track, completing Approximately 17 kilometres in 4 hours. This hike will be challenging due to the distance and uneven ground, however we will make a few stops along the way.

If you haven't walked into Greens Bush then we certainly advise that you give this hike a go!!! We will walk through the most beautiful ferns into Baldrys Crossing Circuit. The gum trees throughout this area are home to some of the Mornington Peninsula's famous koalas. Hopefully we will be lucky enough to spot some along the way. Kangaroos are gauranteed ;)

This is an exceptional hike that will test your endurance, however the constant chit chat from the group helps move you along without noticing the kilometres turning over. You will love this hike and it will be one to talk about with friends and colleagues!

Let us guide you to new heights and tick off some of those hikes that are on your list!
