Event description

Exciting news! 🌿 Elise McLean, aka @Elises.traveldiary, will be joining Walk Mornington Peninsula for a breathtaking hike to Bushrangers Bay, Cape Schanck! 🌊✨

Elise is a talented social media influencer and travel content creator who focuses on nature and adventure travel. With her love for exploring the great outdoors, she’s bringing along her incredible community of followers, and we’d love for our Walk MP members to join in, too!

This hike promises to be a magical morning. With the low tide revealing some of the most stunning and iconic rock pools on the Mornington Peninsula, it’s the perfect opportunity to soak in nature’s beauty. 🌞💫

We can’t wait to meet you, so come join us as we explore the beautiful Bushrangers Bay at Cape Schack. You’ll absolutely love it, and I’m confident that the 5 km will fly by, leaving you eager to discover even more!

Hiking into Bushrangers Bay at Cape Schanck offers a stunning experience of coastal scenery and wildlife. Winding through rugged landscapes with panoramic ocean views. You'll trek through coastal heathlands, and as you approach the bay, dramatic cliffs and crashing waves become visible. The path can be rocky and uneven, requiring moderate fitness. Once you reach Bushrangers Bay, you'll find a secluded beach with black volcanic rock formations and pristine waters. making this hike a memorable adventure in nature's raw beauty.

There are approximately 50 steps that will need to be tackled on our way to Bushrangers Bay and what goes down must come up. Please keep that in mind. We have never had anyone not be able to do it, so we are confident that you will be okay if you feel up to it. It's certainly not a race either!

Don't miss this opportunity to experience nature at its finest!
