Cape Woolamai, Phillip Island - Mid Pace Hiker 9km's
Event description
MID PACE HIKER - Event Leader - Amanda
Our "Mid-Pace Hikers" group strikes the perfect balance between fitness and enjoyment. These hikes are designed for those seeking a challenge without feeling rushed, offering plenty of opportunities to capture photos and appreciate the stunning natural surroundings. They’re ideal for hikers who want to improve their strength and endurance while connecting with like-minded individuals who value the outdoors and the benefits of regular, moderately paced exercise.
Pace: 10-13 minutes per kilometre.
If you're unsure whether this pace suits your fitness level, we recommend starting with our "Relaxed Hiker" hikes, which provide a great introduction to the group and allow you to build confidence at a gentler pace.
Get ready for an adventure to Cape Woolamai, the highest point on Phillip Island! This track promises jaw-dropping views, including a stop at the Pinnacles Lookout. As we make our way to the beacon at Phillip Island’s peak, you’ll be treated to panoramic sights of Phillip Island, San Remo, Kilcunda, and beyond!
We’re in for a 9-kilometre trek that’s just a stone's throw from Melbourne, but it feels like a world away.
Expect some gorgeous beach walks along the way. Before you ask… no, the beach is nowhere near as soft as Portsea Back Beach 😆.
Don’t miss out on this unique trip as it’s not common for Walk MP to venture beyond the Peninsula!
