Pre-Forum Workshop: Implementing the CAPHIA Public Health Graduate Competency Framework

Wednesday 11 November 2026 | Full day

Move from framework to curriculum.

Join CAPHIA for a practical, full-day workshop designed to help educators implement the new CAPHIA Public Health Graduate Competency Framework within their courses and curricula.

Participants will work with colleagues from across the region to explore practical approaches to:

  • curriculum mapping and course design

  • embedding competencies within existing units and subjects

  • designing dedicated learning experiences

  • aligning assessment with graduate competencies

  • strengthening teaching in emerging and priority areas.

Focused workshops will examine areas including AI in public health, decolonising public health curricula, climate and health, policy and advocacy, and other priority areas within the new Framework.

The day is designed to provide practical ideas, examples and approaches you can take back to your institution.
