Jamie and the Numbers are a Wellington soul‑funk outfit fronted by powerhouse vocalist Jamie Musuvā.

What began as a one‑off recording project quickly grew into a passion for Northern Soul, funk, and inventive covers, all delivered in their own unapologetically loud and soulful style. The band mixes original songs with cleverly re‑imagined classics, drawing praise for their debut album and earning airplay across New Zealand and even the BBC. With Jamie’s voice and a tight line‑up featuring Elliott Fuimaono and the Lerwill brothers, their live shows are renowned for energy, groove, and connection. Collaborations with producer Lee Prebble at The Surgery Studios and releases through Deltaphonic Records have cemented their reputation as one of Wellington’s most compelling soul‑funk acts.

It’s hard to describe how good this band is. You will just have to come and find out.
