Celebrating 100 years of musicals, Back to Broadway! is a shimmering choral showcase featuring songs and medleys from some of the greatest shows of all time.
From the jazz musicals of the roaring ‘20s and swinging ‘30s to the classic romance of Rodgers and Hammerstein all the way to the excitement of the modern stage musical, Back to Broadway! is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
Featuring songs from Anything Goes, Porgy and Bess, The Sound of Music, Sweet Charity, Funny Girl, The Wiz, Jesus Christ Superstar, Miss Saigon, Into The Woods, RENT, Wicked, Mamma Mia, Dear Evan Hanson and Six The Musical… who could ask for anything more!
Back to Broadway! is presented by Cappella Chorale, an inclusive Brisbane choir bringing people together to build community, make music and celebrate the power of their collective voices.
Join us for this unforgettable night of nostalgia and music in the air-conditioned comfort of the Claver Theatre, featuring tiered seating and a live band!
Doors open at 5.40pm. Concert: 6.00pm - 7.15pm (approximately 75 minutes, no interval)
